Upon entering my room, I found it to be well-insulated, providing a quiet sanctuary from the noise outside. However, the room was in serious need of updating and a bit dimly lit. The service ranged from pleasant to almost unwelcoming, but overall satisfactory. The location was semi-convenient, near eateries and shopping, although the building's exterior appeared rundown. The dining options could use more variety, and the juice machine didn't dispense the correct mixture. Despite the shortcomings, the free parking was convenient.

The location was convenient, close to shopping and restaurants, but I faced challenges like being on the second floor without an elevator, which was tough with my injured knee. The rooms were spacious and clean with useful amenities like a fridge and microwave, but the sliding glass door had a large gap that affected privacy. My stay at the hotel served its purpose as a cheapish place to stay while taking my son to West Point. The room matched our needs, but it lacked soundproofing, so we could hear cars passing by all night. The location was comfortable with very good food at Union Square Diner adjacent to the hotel. However, the outside of the building looked sketchy and in disrepair.
